Kindred Garden is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

We are closed on major observed holidays, including New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and New Year’s Eve.

Care is provided for children from 12 weeks to 5 years of age.

Programs where children attend while parents remain on-site and readily accessible are exempt from traditional state childcare licensing. However, as an Oklahoma DHS-licensed drop-in facility, drop-in care without parents on-site is permitted under specific limits: up to 6 hours per day and no more than 24 hours per week per child.

Coworking areas are designated for focused work, with quiet zones set aside for private calls. Members must keep common areas and kitchens clean. Workspace guests must sign in at the front desk and remain in common/meeting areas.

Kindred Garden uses a thematic curriculum integrating state-aligned educational activities with child-led play. Core areas focus on Language & Literacy, Mathematical Concepts, Scientific Exploration, Creative Arts, and Physical Development.

Our program uses Conscious Discipline® and an Ethics of Care framework, treating behavior as communication. Staff focus on emotional regulation, positive reinforcement, active calming strategies, and gentle redirection.

Parents provide all daily meals and snacks. Water is continuously available.

We proudly support breastfeeding mothers and offer a cozy, private nursing area on-site. Staff are trained in safe breast milk handling and storage. Bottles must arrive pre-made each day and clearly labeled with the child's full name. Staff do not mix formula/cereal in bottles, bottles are not allowed in cribs, and bottles left overnight are discarded.

Infants/Toddlers: Two sets of extra clothes, disposable diapers, wipes, and diaper cream.
General Essentials: Comfort items for rest time (blanket, lovey, or pacifier) and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing.
Leave at Home: Personal toys (unless requested for show-and-tell), electronics, and valuable items.

Daily updates and photos are shared through the Brightwheel app. In addition, monthly newsletters are posted on the parent bulletin board, brief verbal check-ins occur at drop-off/pick-up, and formal parent-teacher conferences are held biannually.

Every team member holds CPR, First Aid, and Safe Sleep certifications, passes comprehensive state and federal background checks, and possesses a minimum of two years of early childhood education experience. Lead teachers hold or are actively pursuing a CDA credential.
